New house: mini reveal

New HOUSE. House y'all. I am so lucky to be living in a house and not an apartment anymore. Our new house is much bigger than our old place and we even have our own yard. We are so blessed to be here and have been working really hard on decorating the new house, and we still have a lot to do, but I thought I would share what we have done so far. So remember, we still have a lot that we want to do.

And I thought I had a picture of the front of house, but it seems I don't. Don't know what happened to it. Sorry.

I'm showing off my wreath because I made it and it took forever!

Our living room. I love the fireplace and how big it is!

The kitchen.

Our bedroom
It's huge!

My favorite part of the house. My closet!

Hadley's room, which is still really unfinished.

Spare room/playroom

And yeah, that's about it except for the actual house and backyard. I can't wait until it gets warm and we can do some work outside. We aren't supposed to make any changes to the house, but the back porch is awful and we are hoping they let us fix it up. It's not much, but we love it!

I can't believe I forgot to mention some very important news. I am now a certified medical administrative assistant!!! I am so proud of myself for going to school and passing the certification test. It took me 2 years, but I finally did something.

Now the hard part starts. I have to decide if I actually want to start working. We are still a one car household and that won't change until probably March and I am still really nervous about the daycare situation. I know nothing about childcare around here and I don't know if I want her in daycare before she can tell me if some thing is wrong. I know that some parents have no choice but to put their children in daycare from the start, but nobody has ever watched me child but me and it's hard for me to let go and give someone else the reigns.

I feel like it would be good for me to get out and work and have my own money, but I just don't know if I can do it. Hopefully something will come to me in the next few months...

I can't believe it's been so long since I posted. A lot has been going on in our life in the past month and I just haven't had the time to get around to documenting it all. There was Adam's homecoming, lots of family time, Thanksgiving and moving. We have definitely been busy.

We made the move from El Paso, Texas to Fayetteville, North Carolina and I already like it a lot better here. We have a HOUSE! It is so exciting to have a house with a yard and all this big space for Hadley to run around. I hope to never have to live in an apartment again. We have been having fun decorating all of this new, empty space. My first big project was Hadley's new room and it's still a work in progress and will be for a little while longer. I will share pictures of it when it's finally complete. We also re-decorated our bedroom and I love it. It is so big! You will have to wait for pictures on that too.

From Hadley's side of the move she had a hard time adjusting, and it still getting used to everything. She was very attached to our family and had a hard time not being so spoiled and it just being me and Adam around. Sleep and attitude was pretty difficult for awhile, but she has gotten much better. We will be going home for Christmas so hopefully that won't set her back since we will only be there for a week. Other than all of that she is doing great. She will be 27 months this month and I can't believe how big she is getting. I am so amazed and how smart she is and how sweet she is. Except for the whining and tantrums that the terrible 2's bring we are completely in love with this age. She is so much fun...when she wants to be!

I forgot to mention we had family pictures done while we were in Tennessee. We surprisingly got a few good shots, which is a shocker since Hadley cried the whole time.

Pictures as promised!

I'm pretty sure this is the best picture I have so far. I know I am biased, but she is so beautiful!

Our first family picture in over a year!

Halloween!

And I never talked about or shared pictures from the drive-thru safari! It was absolutely the craziest thing I have ever done in my life. I recommend it to everybody. It is 100x's better than the zoo, but a little intense. To say the least.

Woah

I can't believe I haven't posted in 2 weeks! I feel like so much has happened in those 2 weeks and I don't have much time to give all the details right now, but I finally found a small minute to update my blog just a little bit.

Since I blogged last Adam came home from being away for 3 months and we have been adjusting to being a family again. We had Halloween, date nights, shopping sprees, and lots of family time. I got a new phone, and I went with the Samsung Galaxy S3, which in my opinion is way better than the Iphone 5, but anyway...
a lot has been going on and I have been super busy and haven't found the time to update. I have tons of pictures to post, but I can't right now. I have been studying and worrying myself to death because my exam is next Wednesday and I am so scared I am going to fail. I CAN'T fail! That day also happens to be Twilight day! I have tickets to see it at 11 pm with my mom and best friend! It should be fun!

Ok, now I'm rambling, but I don't have much time and just wanted to swing by with a little update. I hope to have some pictures up soon!

Exciting stuff...

As I posted a few days ago, my Etsy shop is now open and running. Now, I am happy to announce that my Facebook page is up and I'm having a giveaway right now for a bracelet or headband. Be sure to head over there, like my page and check out the rules for the giveaway. Click here :)

In other news my husband is officially out of Texas and on his way to us!!! He still has a long way to go since he is going to North Carolina first to take care of some business and then coming back to Tennessee, but he is out of Texas that is a big deal! I am hoping that he has a safe drive and makes sure to stop when he is tired, because he is one stubborn man. He should be here by Halloween to go trick-or-treating with us! I can't wait for him to see Hadley. That's way more exciting than seeing little ol' me. Oh, and I am super excited for Halloween. Y'all know my kid isn't getting any of that candy. Lol.

I thought I would leave you with some Instagram pictures from where I left off last time. Enjoy!
