30 months old

Y'all, Hadley is 30 months old. That means she is 2 1/2. That means in 6 short months she will be 3. 

*sobs in corner*

I don't want my little girl to grow up! It has happened so fast and her baby year is like a distant memory to me. I would love to relive that time again. But, I can't and I just have to enjoy every day with her and watch how beautifully she grows. It seems that she is getting more beautiful, smart, and funny as the days go by. I couldn't be more blessed. She has really changed my life. 

Anyway, enough with the sappy stuff. At 30 months Hadley's weight and height are unknown, but I'm guessing somewhere around 25-30 pounds and 35-37 inches tall. She is completely potty trained and wearing 2t clothing for the most part. Size 5 shoes. She is so independent and doesn't want help doing anything. At all. She says " I do it all by myself." Ok, kid. 

She has been giving us a hard time with sleep for the past week. We have been having to lay by her crib until she falls asleep and she wakes during the night calling for us. We are hoping this gets better soon, because it's not cool kid. You are very spoiled and we are trying to break that. Well, I am, not so much your daddy. He's a big softie. The terrible 2's have been in full effect lately. Patience has been running low these days. Hopefully things will get better soon as I get off the crutches and we get out in this warm weather we are starting to have. Tomorrow is my surgery to have the pin taken out of my foot and then hopefully soon I will be walking on both feet. Not in my own shoes, but a big, heavy boot. It's better than crutches though! Wish me luck!
