Never in my life have I really tried to be healthy. I worked out at the Y for a short period of time, but even then I was still eating like crap. I honestly have never had to worry about it until now. What's funny is that after I had Hadley I lost the weight fast and was really skinny for awhile. Now, my belly has gotten bigger and my butt too. I don't know my exact weight, but if I had to guess I would say around 110. I'm not trying to lose a certain amount of pounds I'm just trying to eat healthy and workout so I can hopefully lose this belly that is making me so self conscious.
I have been trying to eat healthy for about 2 weeks now. It's HARD! I love good food and I love junk food and candy. I hate to be hungry! This has been so hard, but I feel like I am getting better. I tried counting calories in the beginning with the My Fitness Pal app, but it drove me crazy. I could never please that app. So now I am just making sure I eat healthy. I eat a lot of fruit, turkey burgers, and chicken. Exercising hasn't been easy either. I HATE exercise! Pair that with a healing broken foot and there isn't much I feel I can do. I do a lot of crunches and sit-ups, but I can't wait til I can get into the gym and do some cardio. The elliptical is one thing I can stand and that makes me feel pretty good. Not sure when I will be cleared for that.
One thing I have been trying is this detox water I found on Pinterest. A gallon of water with a sliced lemon, half a cucumber (sliced) and a handful of mint leaves. It pretty much just tastes like cucumber water and I'm not sure if it's helping with my weight yet, but we will see. I guess it would be a good time to invest in a scale.
Wish me luck! May is when we go to the beach, and it isn't that far away!
Good luck girl! I am glad you posted because while I am working out I have done nothing to eat better. Two weeks is a great start! I also hope you get cleared to use your foot more soon.
