Happy Father's Day!!

I have 3 fathers to mention in this Father's Day post.
My dad, Willard Dean Dawson, died when I was 14 years old in a motorcycle accident. I don't remember much from my childhood, but I loved my dad and it really took me a lot to get over his death. I don't have any pictures of my dad on my computer, unfortunately. He wasn't a fan of taking pictures and the ones that I do have are actual pictures. I did a search and found a picture of his gravestone.

Update: I did find this picture of my dad and sister on her Facebook page.

My stepfather has been apart of my life much longer than he has been married to my mom. Freddy has been a family friend as long as I can remember. I love Freddy as my own father and I know he loves me as his own. He has been great to us and is great to my mom. I couldn't have asked for a better stepfather. We are lucky to have him in our lives.

This is a picture of Freddy and my sister. I wasn't even around yet.

And then there is Adam. My baby daddy. Ha! He is a great father and loves Hadley so very much. She is also pretty obsessed with him.

Aren't they adorable?

Big things happening...

Maybe

Hopefully

A week from today Adam flies to North Carolina for Civil Affairs selection. If he passes and gets selected he then will go to Special Forces selection in September. If he passes that selection we will be moving to North Carolina at the end of the year.

If none of the above works out he will be deploying at the end of the year and Hadley and I will be moving back to Tennessee during his deployment.

It's still too early right now to know what the next 6 months holds for us, but we do know that no matter what we will be moving from here. Thank GOD! We hate it here. If we move to North Carolina  we will be able to drive home and visit. That will be so awesome and we really hope that things work that way. So any good thoughts are appreciated.

My dear friend Sarah that I met online moved here about a year ago and she is leaving me this month to go back to Seattle. I will miss her and her sweet boy Remy! She kept me company for awhile and I will really miss having someone to hang out with. Hopefully I will be out of here soon too.

Days at the splash park

We are really enjoying our trips to the splash park on post. It is a wonderful way to cool off in this 100 degree heat and it's so much better than the pool, for Hadley, because she loves to get and out, over and over and over. I wish she would actually stay in the pool, but that doesn't happen. We also bought her a little 4 foot pool that we put outside the door and fill up with water. She really likes that too. Fun is limited when you live in an apartment and it's 100 degrees everyday. Here are some pictures from our trips.

This was the first time I took her

And here are some pictures from the other day with her friend Remy.

They are so funny together.

Seriously. Every town should I have one.

Photo dump

I know I haven't been around for like 2 weeks, but there really isn't anything exciting to inform you on. Adam was off work for 17 days and we didn't really do much of anything. I don't normally get on the computer when he is home, so that's why the lack of updates. There has been trips to the park, splash park, stickers, pool fun, sensory bins, etc. Just another boring day.
