Exciting stuff...

As I posted a few days ago, my Etsy shop is now open and running. Now, I am happy to announce that my Facebook page is up and I'm having a giveaway right now for a bracelet or headband. Be sure to head over there, like my page and check out the rules for the giveaway. Click here :)

In other news my husband is officially out of Texas and on his way to us!!! He still has a long way to go since he is going to North Carolina first to take care of some business and then coming back to Tennessee, but he is out of Texas that is a big deal! I am hoping that he has a safe drive and makes sure to stop when he is tired, because he is one stubborn man. He should be here by Halloween to go trick-or-treating with us! I can't wait for him to see Hadley. That's way more exciting than seeing little ol' me. Oh, and I am super excited for Halloween. Y'all know my kid isn't getting any of that candy. Lol.

I thought I would leave you with some Instagram pictures from where I left off last time. Enjoy!

Speaking of getting crafty...

The thought has crossed my mind to open an Etsy shop. I have been making things for fun, but I have had people buy my scarves for me, so I'm thinking about expanding what I make and opening a shop selling different styles of scarves, headbands, and bracelets. My only concern is, will it actually sell? When you look on Etsy there are already people doing the same thing you are wanting to do. My mom says go for it. I think I will have to think on this a little longer...

Getting crafty.

You know what? I don't know how we all survived before Pinterest. I have always thought of myself as the least creative and crafty person, but Pinterest has made me realize that I can actually do some pretty neat things. The list is endless of things I have done from Pinterest. I have made plenty of recipes and activities for Hadley and now I have ventured into the world of t-shirts. If you haven't noticed, you can pretty much make anything out of an old t-shirt. The first thing I made was the braided headbands.

I was pretty pleased with myself so I moved on to making braided bracelets. Not as neat, but still pretty cool.

Now I have moved onto scarves and I absolutely love them.

Since making this one this morning I have made 3 more. I love them so much that I have decided to make these for Christmas presents. Lucky me that nobody that is receiving one reads my blog...or poor me? Either way, I'm pretty excited about it. Who doesn't love a scarf? I even joked about opening an Etsy shop. Ha! My mind is just always swirling these days with creative things I want to make. I am putting a sewing machine on my Christmas list!

Looking for inspiration

I'm not a good writer.
That much we know.

But, I'm starting to wonder if this blog is even worth it. I feel as if I have nothing to write about and my posts are pointless. Any ideas on how to spice up my blog? What should I write about? Maybe I should just close it down. I don't know. I will do some dwelling on it.

A fun Fall!

It is definitely Fall around here. It's getting colder and finally time to break out the long sleeves and put up the shorts. I think I would be happy if it was 75 degrees all year long. That sounds perfect, but anyways...

My best friend Jessica and I went to our first Eric Church concert Monday night and it was wild, to say the least. This is actually the first concert I have been to that served alcohol and I ended up being kissed on the cheek by a complete stranger. She was kicked out about 5 minutes later for other things. But, we had our share of beer and had an absolute blast. He puts on an awesome concert!

Said drunk girl is in the background of this picture..lovely.

In other news Hadley has been sick with a cold and has now given it to me. I took her into the doctor Monday to make sure it was just a cold, and now that she is getting over it I am feeling it. I guess it happens.

We are going to the Pumpkin Town Festival Saturday and I hope it's pretty cool because I have been really looking forward to it. They are supposed to have lots of yummy food and fun stuff for the kids. Hopefully I will get some good pictures to post. Oh, and Adam will be here in like 3 weeks! Lots of excitement!

Happy Fall Y'all!

It's October!!

The month of September was so busy. It was Hadley's birthday and then mine, and it seemed like my birthday lasted forever because I was lucky that everybody wanted to take me out to eat. I may only have a few people that love me, but those people are awesome. So, September was fun, but I'm excited for October!

I love Fall. I wish we were already in our new house because I would love to decorate my new porch with pumpkins and such. I am so excited about our new house!! In less than 2 short months we will be in our new house, and in less than 1 month Adam will be back with us again. He is supposed to arrive October 31st, just in time to go trick or treating with Hadley. I am so excited about that.

So, what have we been doing over here? Mainly trying not to go crazy dealing with the terrible 2's. I always knew I would have a hard time with this because Hadley has given me a hard time since birth, and the 2's are no easier. She has become very stubborn and free spirited. It is a complete pain taking her out to eat and I dread it every time. The high chair is not her friend anymore. I am trying to learn how to deal with it by incorporating discipline, but that's a fine line with a 2 year old. I really don't want her to be that child that is totally out of control. Any advice about how to deal with this is welcome.

Now, I will share some pictures from our month of September.
