I am tired of buying sippy cups.
TIRED!
Today I bought the Playtex Sipster and Hadley actually seems to like it pretty well.
She held onto it and drunk water out of it for like 20 minutes. I had high hopes that she would have no probably taking formula out of this one. I was hopeful and tried feeding her formula out of it for her next feeding and she was just not having it. Ugh.
I really want this kid off of the bottle by the time she is a year old. I know I have 2 more months until she is a year, but it would be really nice to ditch the Dr. Brown's bottles because they are a PITA. She does really well drinking water out of her Munchkin sippy, but it seems like it was too much work for her to get 6 ounces of formula out of it.
The Playtex sippy seems a bit easier flowing. So we will see how it does over the next week. Last week when I tried to quit bottles cold turkey she was only drinking maybe 3 ounces a time and it took me about 30 minutes to get her to drink that much. I am not going to move her to the sippy if she will only take 9 ounces a day. It's not worth it. She is already a skinny minnie.
And a picture of Hadley for good measure!
I feel ya! It is SO frustrating to find one that works. I have to say, I've been happiest with the Tommee Tippee once so far. The explora cups and then the explora straw cups seem to be pretty good. C still struggles but we practice everyday. I say just keep doing what you are doing and it will click eventually. I totally know how you feel though, lol!

ReplyDeleteI saw your post on those cups and thought about trying them next. I am probably confusing her with all these cups. Bless her heart. Ha!
